About the Role
As a Patient Service Rep, you will be responsible for assisting in-patient, out-patient, emergency room, and same-day surgery patients with their registration and information needs. Your tasks will include collecting and analyzing demographic and clinical data, ensuring accurate payment processing, and interacting with patients to meet their needs in a customer-focused manner.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2 years of registration, scheduling, patient accounts, cash collections, or customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of health insurances, medical terminology, and anatomy.
- Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Associates Degree in Business Administration/Management.
- Bilingual skills.
- Manual dexterity to operate various office machines.
