About the Role
As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for creating initial electronic health records, checking in and registering patients, verifying demographic and insurance information, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. You will also educate patients on insurance coverage, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service to create a welcoming environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate.
- Ability to work independently in a high-stress environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience with insurance verification/eligibility tools and EPIC electronic medical records.
- Strong understanding of health insurance terms and regulations.
