About the Role
As a Patient Services Representative, you will greet and screen patients arriving for appointments, check them in using an automated scheduling system, assemble and distribute paperwork, triage questions from callers, perform clerical duties, activate provider orders, schedule appointments, and verify patient information.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Six months to one year experience in a customer service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex healthcare environment.
- Effectively organize and manage time and tasks independently.
- Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in a clear and concise manner.
- Can use a mouse, navigate computer programs and use email in a professional setting.
Preferred:
- Medical terminology.
