About the Role
As a Patient Services Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, coaching and mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will utilize advanced knowledge in specimen collection and processing, focus on quality improvement, and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Your role will also include financial monitoring, staff scheduling, and participation in employee performance evaluations.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of experience in a clinical laboratory in phlebotomy/test management.
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
Effective communication skills in oral and written formats.
Advanced computer skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of regulatory, accrediting, and compliance requirements.
Preferred:
Previous management experience or participation in management training programs.
Associates degree or equivalent experience.
National phlebotomy certification.
