About the Role
As a Patient Support Assistant, you will perform and assist patients with activities of daily living, maintain cleanliness and safety in patient rooms, and support nursing personnel. You will also assist in telemetry cardiac monitoring, perform basic nursing tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse, and help with patient information needs. Your role is crucial in creating a compassionate patient experience and ensuring safety and quality in care.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to use portable technology for patient care documentation.
