About the Role
As a Patient Support Specialist, you will interact directly with patients, physicians, and pharmacies to facilitate access to care through copay assistance programs. Your responsibilities will include responding to inbound and outbound calls, managing patient inquiries, and ensuring a high level of customer empathy throughout the patient experience. You may also assist with administrative tasks and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of experience in health care or case management in a high-volume contact center environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, and/or medical billing.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with Call Center software (Five9, In-Contact, or similar).
