Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Transporter - Days to join their team in Naperville, IL. The role involves transporting patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
About the Role
As a Patient Transporter, you will be responsible for transporting patients under general supervision, which includes disconnecting and reconnecting IV pumps and delivering patient equipment to nursing floors. You will work full-time from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with a schedule that includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.
About You
Required:
- High-school diploma.
- American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider or American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification.
- Minimum six months customer service or patient transporter experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs and carry 80 lbs a distance of 30 feet.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work in challenging conditions with high energy levels.
