Summary
Raytheon is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for the Patriot Country Systems Engineer CPTL position in Tewksbury, MA. The role involves leading systems engineering development, integration, and analysis activities for Country Patriot products.
About the Role
As a Principal Systems Engineer, you will perform high-level systems engineering tasks, mentor junior team members, provide technical oversight, interface with integrated product teams, analyze system performance, and present findings to stakeholders. You will also travel up to 10% of your time to meet program requirements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with design, development, and/or analysis of radar systems, software architecture or related systems.
- Experience in Patriot operations and/or maintenance.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external customers.
- Experience writing reports and presenting information to stakeholders.
- Experience with Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems.
- Requirements development and design related to Patriot products.
- Experience with architecture design and requirement management using DOORS.
- Experience using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Knowledge of systems software design, architecture, development life cycle and processes.
