Tessera is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team in Bremerton, WA. The role involves managing all aspects of payroll processing and payroll accounting, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for a multi-state workforce.
About the Role
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, preparing direct deposit files, ensuring accurate calculations of payments, reviewing payroll deductions, and acting as a subject matter expert on payroll taxes and garnishments. You will also mentor and support Payroll Specialists, assist with employee onboarding, and collaborate on payroll-related tasks and projects.
About You
Required:
Associate’s degree in Accounting.
3 – 5 years of previous experience in Finance or Accounting.
Preferred:
Previous experience in Payroll.
Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances.
