About the Role
As a Supplier Management Specialist at ADEF, you will assist in the development and implementation of supplier sourcing strategies through supplier assessments and rationalization. Your responsibilities will include procuring materials, managing purchase orders, executing sourcing strategies, coordinating with various teams, developing supplier relationships, engaging in supplier negotiations, and recognizing supply risks.
About You
Required:
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience within a procurement or Supply Chain function
- Experience with SAP as MRP system
- Strong analytical/negotiation skills
- Good critical thinking skills and ability to multi-task
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments
- Effective communicator with the ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships internally
- Strong IT skills with high proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred:
- Compliance and FAR 15 experience
