Summary
Advantage Health Centers is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive dental services to pediatric patients in Detroit, MI.
About the Role
As a Pediatric Dentist, you will diagnose and treat dental issues in children, educate patients and their parents on oral health, and perform dental procedures including in-office sedation and treatments under general anesthesia. You will also supervise dental assistants and hygienists, maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, and document all treatments and medications.
About You
Required:
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid DEA license to prescribe narcotics.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- A valid license to practice dentistry in Michigan.
Preferred:
- Considerable knowledge of dental techniques and current developments in the field.
- Ability to advise and lead ancillary personnel.
- Experience working with underserved populations.
- Compassionate approach to non-cooperative clients.
