Summary
The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLPT) Independent Contractor to provide Early Intervention home-based services to patients from birth to age 3 in Allegheny County and/or Butler County.
About the Role
As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will implement Early Intervention services according to the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). You will have the flexibility to schedule patients, collaborate with other therapists, and ensure compliance with best practices and HIPAA regulations. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and maintaining clear communication with families and the medical team.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program with 3-5 years of experience with the pediatric population.
- Maintains current Speech Language Pathology License in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Experience in designing developmental treatment plans and feeding plans.
Preferred:
- Early Intervention experience.
- Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to effectively communicate and work with all staff including other therapists and members of the medical team.
