About the Role
As a Pediatric Speech Pathologist, you will review physician referrals, perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and administer speech language pathology treatments. You will instruct patients and families in treatment procedures, modify treatment goals as necessary, and manage patient cases while collaborating with other health team members. Additionally, you will precept students and participate in departmental meetings and in-services.
About You
Required:
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of current practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Preferred:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred at hire, required within one year.
- BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH.
