About You
- Personal experience in active recovery of mental illness or substance use.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) by ODMHSAS.
- Personal experience with criminal legal system-involvement and trauma history.
- Specialized experience as a recipient of mental health and/or substance abuse services.
- Experience as a paid or volunteer staff working with adults with severe mental illness/substance abuse.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Experience in documenting activities, writing reports, and business correspondence.
Benefits
- $19/hr.
- Full benefit package including 34 paid days off in the first year.

Family & Children’s Services is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic serving adults, children, and families in metro Tulsa. Since 1921, our dedicated staff has restored children’s wellbeing, healed hurting and abused children, strengthened families and provided hope and a path to recovery for those dealing with serious mental illness and addiction. We provide our services regardless of clients' insurance coverage. They are strictly confidential. We have English- and Spanish-speaking staff members. Other translation services are available upon request. Family & Children’s Services has a network of convenient office locations. In addition to weekday hours, we offer evening appointments at many locations.
