About the Role
As a Peer Support Specialist, you will utilize your personal recovery experience to guide and support others on their journey to wellness. You will be responsible for sharing insights from your recovery, participating in mutual support, and helping clients develop skills to thrive. This position requires working overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- A mental health/substance use disorder lived experience.
- Completion of 80-hour Peer Support Learning or equivalent within 90 days of hire.
- Current techniques of behavioral intervention training within six months of hire.
Preferred:
- A valid California driver's license.
