About the Role
As a Pension Benefit Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling financial records related to the Public Employees’ Retirement Fund. Your duties will include performing monthly reconciliations, validating receivables in financial systems, preparing claim schedules, and posting journal entries. You will work under the supervision of the Financial Accountant II and contribute to the financial reporting and accounting services division.
About You
Required:
- Experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Knowledge of general ledger and fund financial data processing.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with myCalPERS and PeopleSoft financial systems.
- Ability to prepare financial reports and analyze account fluctuations.
