About the Role
As a Per Diem Child Life Specialist, you will conduct individual and group sessions to help children cope with their healthcare experiences. You will design and implement therapeutic programs tailored to the emotional and developmental needs of pediatric patients, work closely with a multidisciplinary team, maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, and foster a nurturing environment for children to express their feelings.
About You
Required:
- Certified Child Life Specialist with certification through the Child Life Council.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working with the Medically Fragile pediatric population.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
