As a Per Diem Echo/Doppler Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various cardiac ultrasound studies, including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress echocardiograms. You will also assist with administrative tasks and ensure the smooth operation of the cardiology lab. About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited program.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or CCI).
- BCLS certification.
- 1+ years of direct clinical experience in all phases of echocardiography.
- Basic computer, CRT, and typing experience.
- Ability to work extended shifts as needed.
Preferred:
- Graduate of an accredited echo cardiographer training program.
- 2+ years of experience performing echocardiography.
- Experience with GE Ultrasound and Phillips Ultrasound.
- Ability to speak an additional language.
- Willingness to cross train to support other Cardiology Lab functions.
