About the Role
As a Per-Diem Inpatient Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and distributing unit-dose medications, outpatient prescriptions, and stock orders while maintaining the safe handling and integrity of medications. You will also assist with the training of Pharmacy Technician Trainees and participate in departmental projects. This position requires adherence to safety requirements and familiarity with pharmacy practice settings.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician [State License] required.
- 1-2 years of previous hospital-related experience or formal training.
Preferred:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification [CPhT] from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Experience in a pharmacy technician training program.
