About the Role
As a Per Diem MD in Telemedicine, you will diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic testing through telemedicine. You will document clinical encounters in the EMR system, collaborate with care coordination and internal operations teams, and adhere to Vitable Health policies while completing required training.
About You
Required:
- Active MD or DO licensure in good standing.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a primary care-related specialty.
- Licensure in at least 3-4 MD-only states including South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, Louisiana, or Mississippi.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience post-residency in a primary care setting.
- At least 6 months of telemedicine experience.
- Willingness to work approximately 1 hour/day, 5 days per week.
- Strong diagnostic skills and excellent communication abilities.
Preferred:
- Comfortable providing care synchronously via video.
- Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Skilled at using online tools and digital platforms to deliver care.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Valid driver's license.
