As a Medical Assistant at varying levels (I, II, III), you will contribute to patient care, ensuring safety and comfort according to legal and professional standards. Responsibilities include performing delegated tasks, administering injectables, and executing high-level clinical procedures, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR 1+ years of directly related experience without certification
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Basic medical/nursing terminology experience
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
Preferred:
- Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant for MA II and MA III
- 5+ years of directly related experience for MA II
- 8+ years of directly related experience for MA III
- Experience in Ambulatory Care
- EPIC and Windows-based computer systems experience
