Summary
SCIGON is seeking a Performance Engineer to join their team in Dublin, OH. The role involves driving performance validation and optimization for large-scale enterprise data platforms, focusing on Master Data Management (MDM) systems.
About the Role
As a Performance Engineer, you will define and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies for enterprise data and MDM solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and running load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests, evaluating system behavior under high data volume, and identifying performance constraints. You will collaborate with various teams to diagnose and resolve performance issues, build realistic workload models, and integrate performance testing into automated CI/CD pipelines.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in performance engineering or performance testing roles.
- 3+ years supporting enterprise-scale data platforms or MDM initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
Preferred:
- Advanced experience with enterprise MDM solutions like Informatica MDM, STIBO, Reltio, or IBM InfoSphere MDM.
- Experience using monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Grafana.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with containerized platforms and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
