About the Role
As a Permitting Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing project scopes to determine necessary permits, developing environmental permits, managing project adherence to regulations, and representing the company at public meetings. You will also conduct inspections and oversee the implementation of mitigation plans, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or a related sciences field.
- 3+ years of experience obtaining Regulatory Permits with state, federal and municipal agencies.
- Experience in preparing, editing, and interpreting studies for regulatory filings.
- Ability to work in a team environment to site facilities in the energy sector.
Preferred:
- CPESC certification preferred.
- PWS certification preferred.
