About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting senior clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. You will also help with light housekeeping duties, engage clients in social activities, monitor their progress, and ensure a safe and caring environment.
About You
Required:
- Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
- Valid TB test (within the last 24 months).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Previous caregiving experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, family members, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to lift and assist with transfers, if required.
