About the Role
As a Personal Care Attendant, you will support clients by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility monitoring. You will provide direct personal care of a non-medical nature, perform safety and wellness observations, maintain a safe environment, and help family members with caregiving techniques. Additionally, you will participate in training and education opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to the agency's reputation.
About You
Required:
- 6 months or more of prior direct caregiving experience.
- Self-directed and service-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
- Patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled individuals.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication.
Preferred:
- Experience working with individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's disease.
- Willingness to participate in training to provide service.
