About the Role

As a Personal Financial Counselor, you will be responsible for delivering a full range of personal financial counseling services, including one-on-one counseling, conducting briefings, and providing educational resources. You will assist service members in creating spending plans, coordinate financial management classes, and utilize virtual counseling methods. Additionally, you will manage duty to warn situations and communicate with leadership regarding trends and issues.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of financial counseling experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Preferred:

Associate degree plus 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
High school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
