Summary

Magellan Federal is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor, Assignment Ready Counselor, PFC, KS to provide personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families in Wichita, KS.

About the Role

As a Personal Financial Counselor, you will be responsible for delivering a full range of personal financial counseling services, including one-on-one counseling, conducting briefings, and providing educational materials. You will assist service members in establishing spending plans, coordinate financial management classes, and utilize virtual counseling methods. Additionally, you will manage duty to warn situations and communicate with leadership regarding trends and issues.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree required, or an associate degree plus 4 years' experience, or a high school diploma plus 6 years' experience.
3+ years of financial counseling experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Preferred:

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
