Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc. is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team in East Providence, RI. The role involves managing client relationships and servicing a book of business in Personal Lines insurance.
About the Role
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will proactively manage an assigned book of business, acting as the primary client relationship manager. Your responsibilities will include overall account servicing, maintenance, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities for new and existing Personal Lines clients. You will adhere to corporate standards and procedural guidelines while providing high-level service to clients.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in Personal Lines insurance, preferably at an agency.
- Experience with Surplus Lines and Coastal risks.
- Producer License is Mandatory (MA or RI).
- Strong knowledge of insurance coverage and terminology.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and operate in an ever-changing environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- AAI, AIS, or other insurance designation or related for insurance specialty.
- Fluency in MS Office products.
