Summary
Akumin® is seeking a PETCT Technologist to join their team in Beaufort, SC. The role involves providing scanning coverage and supporting team members in the field with PET/CT training and troubleshooting.
About the Role
As a PETCT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, and troubleshooting equipment. You will partner with local Account Development Directors to communicate with physician groups and assist the sales team with start-ups. The position requires flexibility to work in various environments, including outpatient centers and mobile units.
About You
Required:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
- NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification.
- State license, as required.
- CPR certification.
- 3+ years of experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge and experience with multiple vendors such as GE, Siemens, Philips.
