Summary
UNC Health is seeking a Pharmacist for the Hillsborough Hospital Pharmacy to provide patient care by optimizing medication use and drug distribution services.
About the Role
As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for receiving and interpreting prescriptions, reviewing patient medication profiles, and clarifying any discrepancies with healthcare professionals. You will analyze patient data to recommend optimal drug therapies, compound and dispense medications, and ensure compliance with medication formulary and therapeutic substitutions. Additionally, you will document necessary information, counsel patients, supervise pharmacy staff, and participate in process improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- PharmD or BS Pharmacy Degree.
- Active pharmacist licensure with the NC Board of Pharmacy or obtainable before initiation of employment.
Preferred:
- No prior experience required.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $51.50 - $74.01 per hour.
- Full-time position with standard hours of 40 per week.
