About the Role
As a Pharmacy Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for leading pharmaceutical care initiatives, serving on various committees, and acting as a role model for pharmacy staff. Your duties will include planning staff development, coordinating quality management initiatives, and ensuring operational efficiency and patient safety in the pharmacy department.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for required credentials.
- PHRM - Pharmacist - State Licensure - Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation_PSV or eligible for Texas Pharmacist License within 90 days.
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA) - American Heart Association within 90 days.
- PPC - Pharmacist Preceptor Cert - State Licensure - Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation_PSV within 90 days.
- Successful completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 and PGY2 residency or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- An advanced degree (i.e., master’s degree or Pharm.D).
- IV Certification - Intravenous certification (Various).
