About the Role
As a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Acute Care, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of pediatric pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care across various pediatric service lines. Your responsibilities will include offering drug information, supporting clinical pharmacists, maintaining expertise through continual learning, and educating other caregivers in pharmacotherapy. This role requires working Monday through Friday with weekend and holiday rotations, ensuring continuity of care for pediatric patients.
About You
Required:
- PharmD or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible within 90 days of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Completion of a Post-Graduate Year 2 Residency (PGY2) or fellowship OR completion of a Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY-1) and two years of experience as a Clinical Specialist.
Preferred:
- Board Certification.
- PGY-1 and 2–3 years of experience in assigned specialty area OR PGY-2 residency in Pediatrics, Acute Care, or related specialty.
