Summary
ProCare Rx is seeking a Pharmacy Patient Advocate to join their team in Miramar, FL. The role involves acting as a crucial link between patients, medical providers, and the pharmacy to ensure timely and affordable access to specialty medications.
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Patient Advocate, you will serve as a Patient Liaison, navigating benefits and authorizations, managing patient communications, ensuring seamless coordination of medication deliveries, maintaining accurate records, supporting clinical integrity, and utilizing technology to manage patient cases.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service setting OR one (1) year of experience in specialty pharmacy.
- Prior authorization experience required.
- Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology.
Preferred:
- Benefit investigation experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computation skills.
- Bilingual – English and Spanish.
- Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency.
- RMA or CMA certified.
