About the Role
As a Pharmacy Tech I, you will be responsible for performing all non-sterile medication ordering, preparation, and dispensing activities. This includes filling medication orders for inpatient and outpatient areas, using pharmacy technology, non-sterile compounding, labeling, and repackaging, as well as maintaining required record keeping for controlled and non-controlled substances. You will also deliver supplies to patient units, answer telephone inquiries, and ensure compliance with departmental regulations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Registered Pharmacy Tech-State of NM licensure within 30 days of hire.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 1 year of registration.
Preferred:
- Experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Knowledge of pharmacy technology and medication dispensing processes.
