Koala Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves assisting in the retrieval, processing, and fulfillment of pets’ medication therapies while ensuring clinical excellence.
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work with Operations and Product leaders to elevate pharmaceutical care for customers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe pharmacy environment, assisting pharmacists with prescription refills, performing data entry, and ensuring the correct medications are packaged and shipped. You will also contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures to enhance customer experience.
About You
Required:
- Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License (Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Trainee).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a rapidly evolving startup environment.
