About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate pharmaceutical inventory, ensuring proper handling of medications, monitoring drug usage, managing expiration dates, generating purchase orders, and building vendor relationships. You will also provide inventory reporting, train staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
- 2+ years of experience in pharmacy inventory, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory systems and fulfillment workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data tracking, and inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple shifts.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical requirements (stand, walk, bend, lift 40 lbs.).
- Comfortable in warehouse environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
- Flexibility to adjust hours during peak volumes.
Preferred:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or healthcare.
- Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT).
