About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician Specialist for Education, you will be responsible for planning, developing, facilitating, and conducting staff orientation and continuing education programs. You will also develop and document policies and procedures related to education for pharmacy services, analyze and mentor pharmacy technicians during their orientation, and maintain Pharmacy Technician skills by staffing one shift per week.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of six months specialized training beyond high school.
- Minimum one year experience at the Pharmacy Technician level.
- Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan.
Preferred:
- Experience in developing educational programs for pharmacy technicians.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
