The role involves supporting all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist patients with prescription pickups and drop-offs, handle inbound and outbound phone calls, provide exceptional customer service, fill prescription orders, manage pharmacy supplies, verify medication stock, and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements. You will also perform various clerical duties and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
About You
Required:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona OR Pharmacy Technician Trainee license in the state of Arizona.
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.
Preferred:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
