Summary
Symbria is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to join their growing team at their Pharmacy located in Woodridge, IL. The role involves assisting pharmacists in the preparation of medications for distribution to Long-Term Care communities.
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for filling medication orders accurately and efficiently, operating and maintaining automated packaging systems, managing inventory, and performing quality assurance checks. You will work overnight from Sunday through Wednesday, ensuring timely medication deliveries and compliance with pharmacy policies.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Knowledge of business English, spelling, and commercial arithmetic.
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions.
- General computer knowledge including Windows applications.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
- Pharmacy experience; minimum one year.
