Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join their team in Chantilly, VA. The role involves providing exceptional customer service and performing skilled specimen collections in either a Patient Service Center or Client office.
About the Role
As a Phlebotomist Float, you will be responsible for performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for various tests, and maintaining patient and specimen information logs. You will also provide superior customer service, perform data entry of patient information, and handle administrative duties as necessary. The position requires flexibility to work varying hours, including every other Saturday.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
Preferred:
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist.
