Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join their team in Germantown, MD. The role involves performing blood collections and providing exceptional customer service while working at various locations.
About the Role
As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to gain extensive experience by working with a diverse range of patients and clinics. Your responsibilities will include performing blood collections, processing specimens, maintaining patient logs, and providing superior customer service. You will also be required to travel to different sites as needed and work a flexible schedule, including rotating Saturdays.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Preferred:
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
- 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
- Experience working with pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
