About the Role
As a Phlebotomist Outreach, you will perform responsibilities associated with obtaining blood and patient specimens, including patient registration, managing documentation, and ensuring proper collection techniques. You will work with pediatric and adult patients, transport specimens, and maintain records while fostering patient-centered care.
About You
Required:- High school diploma or GED required.
- Phlebotomy certificate through National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences or completion of a Phlebotomy certificate program with a formal internship demonstrating 100 successful venipunctures.
- Ability to perform venipuncture techniques and capillary puncture on adults, children, and infants.
Preferred:- 6 months of phlebotomy experience may be considered in lieu of internship.
- 5 plus years of direct phlebotomy experience may be considered in lieu of phlebotomy certification.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively explain procedures to patients.
