Summary
Saronic Technologies is seeking a Physical Security Systems Engineer to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves the design, implementation, integration, and lifecycle management of enterprise physical security technologies.
About the Role
As a Physical Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and engineering enterprise-wide physical security systems, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and identity integrations. You will collaborate with network engineers to implement policies and maintain secure firewall rules, while also ensuring system scalability for multi-site deployments and troubleshooting network issues affecting security systems.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer networking, Information Systems or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in physical security systems engineering.
- Hands-on experience with cameras and/or access control.
- Experience integrating systems with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or similar environments.
Preferred:
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge of network design and function.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and cloud environments.
- Certifications in Lenel, Verkada, CCure, Genetec and Avigilon.
