About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will assist patients in becoming independent by administering manual exercises, instructing and encouraging them with non-manual exercises, and aiding in daily living activities. You will report changes in patient conditions, utilize physical agents as directed, and document services in compliance with regulations.
About You
Required:
- Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California.
- At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Must have a vehicle, a valid current driver’s license, and automobile insurance.
- Ability to make home visits and provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments in the home environment.
Preferred:
- Home Health and Home Care documentation experience.
