About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be responsible for following state-specific laws governing physical therapy in home care, instructing and aiding patients in various exercises and training, observing and reporting patient responses to treatment, and coordinating care with other healthcare team members.
About You
Required:
- Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
- Available to work a weekend rotation.
Preferred:
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.
