About the Role
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patients' therapeutic needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, instructing patients and caregivers, and participating in discharge planning. You will also supervise physical therapy assistants and provide inservice education programs as needed.
About You
Required:
- Degree from a Bachelors or Masters' program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
- Licensed to practice as a physical therapist within the state, if applicable.
- Two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist.
- Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to travel to different patients' homes.
- Discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working in a home health setting.
