About the Role
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing direct patient care. You will also supervise assigned personnel, document findings, and serve as a resource and mentor for staff and students. The position requires effective communication with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, as well as participation in departmental planning and program development.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission.
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
- At least five years of clinical experience or four years with completion of an accredited residency or fellowship program.
Preferred:
- Advanced Education or clinical certification.
- Doctoral degree along with a residency or fellowship program.
- Licensed therapist with 30 hours of continuing competence activities in differential diagnosis.
