About the Role
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will administer patient-centered Physical Therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities will include observing and documenting patient progress, planning and implementing individualized therapeutic programs, and providing education on Physical Therapy subjects. You will work Monday through Friday, with some weekends and holidays required.
About You
Required:
- Associate's Degree or certificate in Physical Therapy.
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
- Valid Driver’s License (VDL) with proof of $100,000/$300,000 coverage insurance for Homecare.
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical area.
- Prior experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
