- Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
- Completion of residency training in an accredited core specialty program.
- Experience in teaching and supervising medical trainees.
- Record of contribution to scientific literature.
- Board certification in hematology-oncology.
