About the Role
As a Physician- Physiatrist, you will report to the Regional Chief Medical Officer and the Hospital CEO, providing full-time medical services to patients. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and managing patients with physical and cognitive impairments, collaborating with facility leadership to develop patient care policies, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also perform administrative duties and assist with medical education as needed.
About You
Required:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current state medical license.
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Preferred:
- Current certification or active participation in the examination process for certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Prior experience as Medical Director or in a leadership role.
- Experience in staff education management.
